Estou fazendo meu melhor pra atualizar o blog com posts que eu deixei de escrever - o Picnic da Mayu e a Viagem dos Bálticos, e estou terminando mais um sobre o Japão para publicar essa semana. Espero que você se divirta lendo!
I am doing my best to update the blog with some posts I missed - Mayu's Picnic and the Baltics Trip, and I am finishing a new one about Japan to be published this week. Hope you have a nice time reading!
Finalmente consegui fazer meu iPod antigo funcionar de novo (ele é de 2007!) e o preenchi com muitas músicas nostálgicas. Agora tenho um monte de Kanon Wakeshima, Nana Kitade e Mc Melod¥ Doll para ouvir sem gastar a bateria do meu celular.
I finally made my old iPod work again (it's from 2007!), and I managed to fill it with many nostalgic songs. Now I have lots of Kanon Wakeshima, Nana Kitade and Mc Melod¥ Doll to listen to without draining my phone's battery.
Também estou fazendo colagens com vários retalhos de papel, cartões-postais e adesivos que fui colecionando ao longo dos últimos anos — especialmente na minha última viagem ao Japão. Sei que comecei algo parecido há muitos anos, mas o álbum antigo está em algum lugar no Brasil, na casa da minha sogra (ou será que o perdi em alguma mudança?), então achei melhor começar um novo por enquanto. Acho que está ficando bem legal!
I am also making collages with many scraps of paper and postcards and stickers I've been collecting in the last years, especially in the last Japan trip. I know I started something similar many years ago, but the old scrapbook is somewhere in Brazil inside my MIL's house (or maybe I lost it sometime ago when moving??) so I thought it was nicer to start a new one for now. I think it is looking neat so far!
Espero que, ao colar essas coisas, elas se tornem uma lembrança melhor do que simplesmente deixar retalhos soltos dentro de uma sacola ou pasta. As ilustrações que fiz também ficarão mais bem preservadas, em vez de acabarem sendo jogadas fora. E é uma ótima desculpa para usar todas as minhas washi tapes e muitas das minhas figurinhas!
I hope that glueing these things together, they will be a better memory than just leaving whatever scraps inside a bag or folder. Whatever illustrations I made will also be better taken care of, instead of being eventually thrown away. And it is a nice excuse to use all the washi tape I have, plus many of my stickers!
