Another super cute brand!
No início do ano, estive no Japão. Sei que já faz um tempo, mas adoraria compartilhar algo sobre esta loja de moda lolita encantadora que, sinceramente, merece mais reconhecimento!
In the beginning of the year I was in Japan. I know it's been a while, but I'd love to share something about this lovely lolita shop that honestly deserves more love!
Depois de caminhar pela rua Takeshita e ficar chateada por não ver nenhuma lolita por perto, meu marido abriu o Google Maps e disse que uma das lojas que eu queria visitar ficava ali perto. Eu tinha esquecido completamente, mas a Shirley Temple ainda tinha uma loja em Harajuku! Encontramos o beco estreito e sinuoso que levava à loja. E ela era TÃO LINDA!!!!
After walking through Takeshita Street and hating not seeing any lolitas around, my husband opened google maps and said one of the shops I wanted was nearby. I have totally forgotten about it, but Shirley Temple still had a shop in Harajuku! We found the tiny winding alley that lead to the shop. And it was SO PRETTY!!!!
À primeira vista, a Shirley Temple parece ser uma loja de roupas para meninas pequenas — daquelas bem pequenas mesmo, com menos de 8 anos. As roupas eram uma gracinha. Mas perguntei à vendedora se eles tinham roupas para adultos... Eu estava vestindo lolita e carregava algumas sacolas de compras; acho que isso a convenceu de que as peças da Shirley Temple realmente poderiam servir em mim.
In a first glance, Shirley Temple seems to be a shop for little girls clothing. Like, really small, under 8 years old. The clothing looked really adorable. But I asked the saleswoman if they had clothing for adults... I was wearing lolita and had some shopping bags, so I think that convinced her that Shirley Temple's stuff could really be for me.
A área de moda adulta não era tão grande quanto a seção infantil e juvenil, mas era bem legal. Havia alguns vestidos que combinavam exatamente com os das crianças (aquela ideia de "twin o look com a filha"), mas muitos tinham estampas e cortes bem diferentes. Eu não tinha certeza do que queria, até ver uma estampa de cerejas. O vestido parecia pequeno na parte de cima, então pedi para experimentar a saia.
The adult size area was not as big as the children and teenager section, but it was quite nice. There were some dresses that matched exactly the chidlren's dresses (kinda "twin with your daughter"), but many had very different prints and cuts. I was not sure what I wanted, until I saw a print with cherries. The dress seemed to be small on the top, so I asked to try the skirt.
A saia tem a estampa "Cherry Stripe" e é do tamanho adulto (feminino) — teoricamente a medida da cintura abrangia de 62 cm a 74 cm. (Sou maior que isso.) Acho que não me fiz entender bem quando saí do provador, já que a vendedora me ofereceu alguns broches com a mesma estampa... Aí tive que explicar que queria os dois, haha: a saia e os broches! Mostrei a ela algumas fotos minhas usando outras peças da ETC e da Shirley Temple, e ela achou uma graça! Ela também permitiu que eu tirasse, dentro da loja, estas fotos que estou postando aqui.
The skirt has the 'Cherry Stripe' print, and it is the ladies sizing - supposedly it was from 62cm to 74cm at the waist. (I'm bigger than that.) I think I miscommunicated when I went out of the dressing room, since the saleswoman offered me some badges/pins with the same print... And then I had to explain that I wanted both, haha, skirt and pins! I showed her some pictures of me wearing other ETC and Shirley Temple items and she said it was cute! She also allowed me to take these pics inside the shop I am posting here.

Ela foi super simpática e gostei muito de comprar lá. Não acho que comprar no site deles sendo cliente do exterior seja tão fácil quanto foi pessoalmente (o site da ETC é super fofo e a navegação é bem mais intuitiva!), mas realmente gostaria que mais pessoas passassem a amar a ST e a ETC ♥ Elas têm muitas peças casuais e no estilo otome que combinam perfeitamente com a moda Lolita e podem deixar muitos visuais que não são EGL mais interessantes ^^
She was super nice and I really enjoyed buying there. I don't think buying on their website as an overseas customer is as easy as it was in real life (ETC's website is super cute and more obvious on how to navigate!), but I do wish more people get to love ST and ETC ♥ They have many casual and otome pieces that work perfectly with Lolita fashion, and can make many non-EGL looks more interesting ^^
Ah, também tirei foto com essas duas lolitas queridíssimas que estavam do lado de fora da loja! Estávamos todas usando Baby, hehe~
