No nosso último Swap meet, consegui este casaco numa troca parcial. Adorei as cores e o tamanho ficou perfeito, então achei que era ideal. A etiqueta interna diz "XL", o que não me incomoda, sinceramente acho que as etiquetas são apenas uma sugestão. Sempre prefiro usar as medidas da peça como guia. Este casaco tem cerca de 100cm de busto, 80cm de cintura e 92cm de comprimento. Acho que funciona porque é perfeito para usar com outras peças por baixo. No entanto, não tem muito espaço para anáguas. Se eu fechar o zíper, qualquer saia que eu usar ficará esmagada...
On our last Swap Meet I got this coat on a partial trade. I absolutelz love the colors and it fits, so I felt it was perfect. The label inside says "XL", which I don't mind, I honestly think labels are just a suggestion. I always prefer to use the measurements of a piece as a guide. This coat has circa 100cm on the chest area, 80cm on the waist and is 92cm long. I think it works because it is perfect for layering things. It does not have a lot fo room for petticoats, though. If I zip it up, any skirt I wear will be squished...
Até agora, não consegui encontrar o nome oficial nem fotos de catálogo. As únicas outras imagens que encontrei online eram de um site de vendas... O que me fez perceber que meu casaco está incompleto. Consegue ver o que eu estou vendo?
I couldn't find an official name until now, nor stock pictures. The only other images I found online were from a sales website... Which made me realize my coat is missing a couple parts. Can you see what I see?
Eu não gostei das fitas rosa nos bolsos porque eram muito feias, e agora sei que as originais eram do mesmo material do casaco. E os laços nas mangas estavam presos de um jeito que parecia que iam se desfazer, e agora percebo que nem estavam ali antes. Vou cortar todos fora!
I didn't like the pink ribbons on the pockets because they were too bad, and now I know the original ones were of the same material as the coat. And the bows on the sleeves were attached in a "I am almost falling apart" way, which I also now see they were not there in the first place. I will snip them all!
Notei que os botões na parte superior não são simétricos, o que me leva a crer que um deles se soltou. Não consigo reproduzir as faixas horizontais que prendiam os botões, né? 🤔 Se eu conseguir, elas devem ser pretas. As que eu tentei fazer ficaram péssimas. Optei daí por botõezinhos de pressão.
I noticed the buttons on top are not simmetrical, which makes me think one of them has fallen off. I can't reproducte the horizontal bands that bound the buttons together, can I? 🤔 If I do, they should be black. But the ones that I tried to do were terrible. I opted for small press-on buttons.
Meu plano original era remover o zíper e costurá-lo novamente de cabeça para baixo, para que a jaqueta pudesse ser fechada apenas na parte de cima e ficar aberta na parte de baixo, deixando espaço para a anágua. No entanto, com os botões de pressão., o casaco fecha bem.
My original plan was to take the zipper out and re-sew it upside down, so the jacket could be closed only on top and be open below, as to leave place for the petticoat. However, with the pressure buttons, the coat closes well enough.
Este casaco me lembra muito o da Osanpo Candy-chan / おさんぽキャンディちゃん from Angelic Pretty (também chamado de 'Candy-chan on a walk'), acho que é super elegante para o inverno! Já ando usando ele bastante, mas aqui está meu look com ele:
