Então, eu também queria postar sobre isso há muito tempo. Embora lolita tenha origem no Japão, tenho a impressão de que as primeiras marcas indie fora da Ásia foram norte-americanas. Algumas já extintas, como In the Starlight, têm um lugar especial no coração de muitas lolitas. (Cutie Plush tem um lugar especial no meu, a culpa é sua, Claire!)

Como fiz da última vez, primeiro vou mostrar a minha lista (que contém principalmente marcas que fazem peças completas) e depois falar um pouco sobre essas marcas. Espero que você goste! ♥

So, I've also wanted to post about this for a long while. While lolita originated in Japan, I get the impression that the first indie brands outside Asia were north-american. Some defunct ones, like In the Starlight, have a special place in many lolitas' hearts. (Cutie Plush has a special place in mine, blame is on you, Claire!)

As I did last time, first I'm gonna show my list (which contains mostly brands that do full garments) and then talk a little about these brands. Hope you like it! ♥

Sleepyland

Esta marca faz umas roupas lolita muito fofas. A primeira vez que ouvi falar do Starlit Apothecary, pensei que a Meta tivesse lançado! Sleepyland tem alguns cutsews lindos, algo que não vejo marcas independentes fazendo. A loja virtual deles também tem uma seção chamada 'world of wishes' (mundo dos desejos), que é uma página cheia de positividade e belos pensamentos!

This brand makes some really cute sweet lolita apparel. The first time I heard about Starlit Apothecary, I thought Meta had released it! Sleepyland has some gorgeous cutsews, something I don't quite see indie brands doing. Their webshop also has a section called 'world of wishes', which is a page full of positivity and nice thoughts!

Dandy Puppeteer

Essa marca é absolutamente legal: eles fazem não só roupas lolita, mas também roupas ouji combinando, muitos itens têm temática de circo e eles têm as as joias de acrílico mais bonitas. Além disso, eles fazem meias!! Seus aventais Ita são destaque, atualmente eles vendem os em formato de coração. Eles são a primeira marca lolita que conheço que trabalha com couro genuíno para bolsas - a coleção de corações deles está em pre-order nesse momento!

This brand is absolutely cool: they make not only lolita clothing but also matching ouji outfits, many items are circus-themed and they have the prettiest acryllic jewelry. Also, they do socks!! Their ita aprons are a highlight, they are currently selling heart-shaped ones. They are the first lolita brand I know that works with genuine leather for bags - their heart collection is in pre-order right now!

I Do Declare

Esta marca existe há mais tempo do que outras indies de que me lembro. Suas peças são carregadas de referências históricas, e se inclinam mais para o lado gótico. Eles têm fotografias lindas! Seus vestidos e camisas geralmente me fazem pensar em uma bruxa guerreira. Eles até fizeram uma collab com Haenuli uma vez! Acho que ainda estão ativos, mas trabalham com poucos pedidos e estoque mínimo dos itens.

This brand has been longer around than other indies I remember. Their pieces are loaded with historical references, they lean more to the goth side. They have gorgeous photography! Their dresses and shirts usually make me think of a warrior witch. They even made a collab with Haenuli once! I think they are still active, but they work with few orders and minimal stock of the items.

Lily of the Valley

Esta marca dos EUA tem designs lindos e delicados! Se você gosta de cogumelos, eles terão algo para você, como as lindas coleções do The Mycologist's Notebook. Eles têm as bijus mais fofas do Etsy, especialmente broches de madeira!

This USA brand has lovely, delicate designs! If you like mushrooms, they will have something for you, like their gorgeous The Mycologist's Notebook collections. They have the cutest jewelry on Etsy, especially wooden brooches!

Moss Badger

Moss Badger é uma marca lolita versátil que tem o poder de se inclinar para um estilo clássico mais sombrio ou um clássico mais doce. Acho que atualmente elas estão mais fortes nos acessórios mas suas JSKs e saias são delicadas e incríveis! Eles também têm adesivos fofos combinando com algumas estampas e designs!

Moss Badger is a versatile lolita brand that has this power to lean into a darker classical style or a sweeter classic. I think they are stronger on accessories currently but their JSKs and skirts are delicate and amazing! They also have cute stickers matching some prints and designs!

Puvithel

Variando de um estilo OTT clássico da realeya a menhera (!), Puvithel é uma potência da moda. Acho que as coleções atuais são amplas para a moda alternativa em geral, principalmente a coleção menhera com peças mais confortáveis como moletons e leggings. Não consigo descrever bem, mas tenho uma admiração enorme pela dona da marca, pelas suas equipes que trabalham em vários os continentes para fazer as coisas funcionarem... Ela é tudo! Essa colaboração com a Misako foi tão fofa!!

Ranging from a royal classy OTT style to menhera (!), Puvithel is a fashion powerhouse. I think their current collections are broad for alt fashion in general, especially the menhera collection with more comfy pieces like hoodies and leggings. I can't quite describe, but I have a huge admiration for this brand owner, for her teams working across continents to make things work... She is everything! This collab with Misako was just so cute!!

Gloomth

Esta interessante loja canadense tem muitas peças punk! Eu amo seu estilo mais sombrio e irreverente. A loja física deles se chama 'Doll Funeral' em Toronto, e eles também agendam horários legais sessões de fotos! Algumas de suas coleções têm um toque rockabilly e incluem trajes de banho. Adoraria visitá-los pessoalmente um dia!

This interesting canadian shop has many punk pieces! I love their darker, irreverent style. Their physical store is called 'Doll Funeral' in Toronto, and they also schedule cool photoshoots! Some of their collections have a rockabilly flair, and include swimwear. I'd love to visit them personally one day!

Ivy Frozen

Esta linda loja norte-americana faz a maioria de seus vestidos com apliques e estampas disponíveis no mercado. Mesmo assim, seus designs são bastante únicos! No ano passado eles participaram de um grande Tea Party nos EUA e mostraram lindas peças de sua coleção que estarão disponíveis este ano para pré-venda.

This cute US shop makes most of their dresses with appliqués and commercially availabe prints. Even though, their designs are quite unique! Last year they joined a big Tea Party in the US and showed beautiful pieces of their collection that will be availabe this year for pre-order.

Sweet Addiction

Não acho que a marca ainda esteja ativa, mas queria muito apresentar uma marca mexicana também... E então descobri que a Sweet Addiction tem esses dois lindos JSK estampados que eu tinha que mostrar para vocês! "The Sweetest Chocolate Party" JSK tem três cores lindas, enquanto as demais peças costumam ter uma cor só. Acho que essa loja também fazia muitos acessórios, mas nunca encontrei fotos deles. Essas outras duas JSKs eu encontrei em outras contas do tumblr de lolitas.

I don't think the brand is still active, but I really wanted to feature a Mexican brand as well... And then I found Sweet Addiction has these two gorgeous printed JSK that I just HAD to show you! "The Sweetest Chocolate Party" JSK has three gorgeous colorways, while their other pieces are usually with one colorway. I think this store also made many accessories, but I never found stock photos of them. These two other JSKs I found on other lolitas's tumblr accounts.

Essa lista não era tão longa quanto eu imaginava e queria mostrar ainda mais marcas - mas infelizmente descobri que elas não estão mais ativas. Se você quiser me contar sobre lojas mexicanas ou canadenses, eu adoraria saber! Ambos os países são grandes e tenho certeza que há mais lolitas fazendo vestidos lindos de forma independente. E algo a mais: nos EUA temos a incrível Lolita Collective, uma loja física colaborativa que vende itens de diversas marcas independentes desenhistas! Além disso, às vezes eles também importam coisas do Japão :) Por favor, dê uma olhada!

This list wasn't as long as I imagined, and I wanted to show even more brands - but unfortunately found out they are not active anymore. If you want to tell me abore mexican or canadian shops, I'd love to know! Both countries are big and I'm sure there are more lolitas doing independently gorgeous dresses. And, something extra: in the US we have the amazing Lolita Collective, a collaborative physical store that sells items from various independent designers! Plus, they sometimes import things from Japan as well :) Please check them out!

• Dear Lenore - Esta loja mexicana fez uma revolução quando começou a fazer lindos sapatos tipo teaparty. Comprei deles lá em 2012. Infelizmente, devido às restrições de fabricação e do Paypal, eles pararam de vender seus sapatos em todo o mundo.

• Sweet Juju Shop - They have such cute acrylic jewelry! This is their Etsy account.
• Magical Girl Me - If you wanna feel like a magical girl, this accessory shop is for you! This is their cute webshop.
• Dear Lenore - This mexican shop made a revolution when they began making cute teaparty-like shoes. I bought from them back there in 2012. Unfortunately due to Paypal restrictions and manufacturing, they stopped selling their shoes worldwide.
