Enquadrei uma sacolinha!

I framed a tote bag!

Eu recebi essa sacola faz um tempinho, de uma amiga que me mandou uma caixa de coisas fofas minhas que estavam no Brasil. ♥ Ela estava um pouco amassada, mas sabendo que veio de uma amiga muito querida e que não usa mais lolita, eu queria transformar numa recordação mais duradoura do que só deixar essa sacola largada em alguma caixa escondida por aí. Então levei ela comigo para ir até uma loja que tivesse molduras para quadros.

I received this bag a while ago, from a friend who sent me one box of cute things of mine that were in Brazil. ♥ It was a little wrinkled, but knowing that it came from a very dear friend who no longer wears lolita, I wanted to turn it into a more lasting memory than just leaving this bag lying around in a hidden box somewhere. So I took her with me to go to a store that had picture frames.

A loja, no caso, era a IKEA, e essa fui eu voltando de tram/bonde, hahahah. Usei o passepartout que veio junto para deixar com uma cara mais "arrumada" e dobrei as alças pra dentro.

The store, in this case, was IKEA, and that was me returning by streetcar/tram, hahahah. I used the passepartout that came with it to give it a more "tidy" look and folded the straps inward.

A Angelic Pretty já não faz mais essa estampa de sacola tem vários anos, as versões atuais são rosa-choque com o logo dourado, e lilás com o logo dourado. Ambas bem minimalistas. Eu gosto muito dessa era OTT, então acho que é também condizente expôr isso no meu espaço fofinho de ilustrações. Sei que muita gente vende as sacolinhas de brand também, mas eu jamais ia vender algo que estivesse amassado ou rasgado - portanto, as outras sacolas que tenho (em algum lugar do Brasil, se elas ainda estiverem lá) também vão ser tranformadas em quadrinhos ❤

Angelic Pretty no longer makes this bag print for several years, the current versions are hot pink with a gold logo, and lilac with a gold logo. Both very minimalist. I really like this OTT era, so I think it's also appropriate to showcase this in my cute illustration space. I know a lot of people sell brand bags too, but I would never sell something that was wrinkled or torn - so the other bags I have (somewhere in Brazil, if they're still there) will also be turned into pretty frames ❤
