Hoje vim mostrar o enfeite de cabeça interessante que fiz para combinar com meu querido vestido Melty Chocolate.
Today I wanted to show the interesting headpiece I made to match my dear Melty Chocolate dress.
Inspirado nos chapéus de bolinho da AP de 2009 (incluindo o bolo que não era para ser usado na cabeça!), quis fazer como se fosse uma fatia de bolo/torta. Claro, outra inspiração importante foi a que a Ana do Tea And Macarons fez em seu blog *-*
Inspired on the AP cake hats from 2009 (including the cake that wasn't actually intended to be worn on a head!), I wanted to make like it was a slice of cake/pie. Of course, other important inspiration was the one that Ana from Tea And Macarons made on her blog *-*

O padrão é simples: uma forma redonda para o "prato", um triângulo (a base e o topo do bolo), um retângulo comprido para as laterais do bolo.
The pattern is simple: a round shape for the "dish", a triangle (the base and the top from the cake), a long rectangle to be the sides of the cake.
Para isso, usei feltro, papelão fininho, cola de tecido, fita de cetim, renda, pérolas e praticamente tudo que encontrei no meu estoque de costura / armarinho / kurzwaren. Uma das coisas aleatórias que usei foi a fitinha rosa que comentei nesse post. ❤
For that, I used felt, light cardboard, fabric glue, satin ribbon, lace, pealrs and pretty much anything I found lying around in my sewing stash / haberdashery / kurzwaren. One of the random things I used was the pink ribbon that I found here. ❤
Nesse caso específico, eu não quis costurar nada à máquina. Como os produtos de feltro têm um visual artesanal, acho que o feltro fica mais bonito quando costurado à mão ^_^ Então é assim que ficou, no final:
In this specific case, I didn't want to sew anything by machine. Since felt goods are have a crafty look, I think felt looks prettier when handsewn ^_^ So this is how it looks like, in the end:
Eu só preciso escolher onde e quando vou usá-lo no futuro! ♥
I just need to choose where and when I'm gonna wear it in future! ♥
