Um pouquinho de artesanato!
A bit of craft!
No meu aniversário esse ano eu recebi um monte de tecidos de presente. Como sou um ser criativo, considero esse tipo de presente um tesouro, porque consigo expressar minhas idéias dentro de alguma restrições (por exemplo, os tecidos que recebi!) e acho isso muito maneiro! Umas semanas atrás eu pedi pra uma amiga escolher um tecido aleatório pra eu usar. Então ela escolheu o tecido de mapa, e essas foram as coisinhas que eu criei. O tecido é lindo ate nos detalhes! Eu adoro como as cores foram testadas na ourela do tecido, adoro que ele mistura creme, verde, marrom e ainda tem um toque de tinta dourada!
On my birthday party this year I got a lot of fabric as a gift. I'm a creative being, these kinds of gift are a treasure for me, because they allow me to express my ideas within some constraints (for example, the fabrics I got!) and I find it super great! A couple weeks ago I asked a friend to pic one fabric for random and I'd use it. So my friend picked up the map fabric, and this are the things I created. The fabric was pretty even its little details! I love how the colors were tested on the selvedge of the fabric, I love that it mixes cream, green, brown and even has a touch of gold paint!
Eu queria ter feito um JSK primeiro, algo tipo isso, mas como os pedaços de tecido eram bem menor do que eu imaginava, pensei que fazer acessórios seria melhor... Daí acabei com dois cadernos encapados, uma roupinha pra minha Pullip e um lacinho combinando pra mim :) Acho que esse laço vai funcionar bem com pecas cor de creme e looks mais casuais, já que não tem nada de renda.
I wanted to do a JSK first, with this one as inspiration, but since the pieces were smaller than I imagined, I thought that making accessories would be better... So I ended up with two covered notebooks, a tiny outfit for my Pullip doll, and a matching headbow for me :) I think this bow will work with cream-colored pieces and more casual looks, since there is no lace.
Os cadernos foram meio complicadinhos de cobrir por conta do elástico, mas eu não costurei nada, eu só colei tudo com uma cola de artesanato bem forte. Cada um deles vai pra uma amiga diferente.
The notebooks were a bit tricky to cover because of the elastic, but I did not sew anything; I just glued everything with a strong craft glue. Each of them will go to a different friend.
Eu juro que tinha tirado as medidas da boneca certinha, mas me esqueci completamente na hora que estava cortando o vestido e acabei com uma saia de cintura bem alta que meio que se enrola ao redor do corpinho. Espero que ainda pareça bonitinha para quem vê de fora!
I swear I took the doll's measurements properly, but I forgot them while I was cutting the dress and ended up with a high-waisted skirt that kinda wraps around her body. I hope it still looks alright from the outside!
