Two days in Czech Republic!
Este post vai ser muito LOOOONGO porque o fim de semana em Brno foi cheio de atividades do Animefest! Estou postando na data correta, mas alguns dias depois, desculpem! Enfim;
Para mim, começou na sexta à noite, quando me arrumei e fui para o ônibus. Era uma viagem de 7 horas e eu não podia levar uma mala grande, então meu JSK Reversível veio bem a calhar! Este foi meu look para viajar/dormir/para o evento no sábado:

For me, it started friday evening when I dressed up and got to the bus. It was a 7h ride and I couldn't take a big bag with me, so my Reversible JSK came in quite handy! This was my look for traveling/sleeping/the event on Saturday:

Chegar super cedo ao evento foi muito prático, pois tive bastante tempo para conversar com as outras modelos e organizadoras. Me voluntariei para ser modelo no desfile, então começamos nossa primeira apresentação na passarela por volta das 8h e, depois de algumas rodadas de treino, fomos para os bastidores para nos vestir. Foi muito bom conversar com todos e ajudar uns aos outros com as fitas, maquiagem e tudo mais :3
Arriving on the event super early was quite handy, as I had lots of time to chat with the other models and organizers. I volunteered to be a model for the fashion show, so we began our first run on the runway around 8 am, and after a couple practice rounds we went to the backstage to get dressed. It was so nice to chat with everybody, and help each other out with ribbons, makeup and all :3
Quando nos voluntariamos para o desfile, não havia como saber se conseguiríamos ou não, e não podíamos escolher para qual marca iríamos desfilar. As marcas do desfile eram nossas marcas locais da Europa Central/Oriental, como Porcelain Doll (cz), Sleeping Doll (cz) e Lady Sloth (pl), e Atelier Pierrot foi nossa convidada de honra. Não tenho fotos do desfile, mas aqui está um ensaio:
When we volunteered for the fashion show, there was no way to know if we were going to make it or not, and we could not choose to which brand we were going to model. The brands for the fashion show were our local central/eastern european brands, like Porcelain Doll (cz), Sleeping Doll (cz) and Lady Sloth (pl), and Atelier Pierrot was our guest of honour. I don't have any pics from the runway show, but here's a rehearsal:

Ser modelo foi simplesmente mágico! Não só foi divertido, como também me fez melhorar meu jeito de andar e posar em lolita. Filmamos alguns minivídeos e fizemos muitos ensaios fotográficos. Aqui está meu time preto e branco :3
Modeling was just magical! Not only was fun, but it kinda made me improve how I walk and pose in lolita. We filmed a couple mini videos and had lots of photoshoots. Here's my black and white team :3
Depois de modelar para o desfile e para as fotos, estávamos livres para fazer o que quiséssemos na convenção. Como modelamos para a AtePie, a Connie nos ofereceu um desconto nas peças que usamos. Troquei minha blusa com uma das minhas colegas e comprei a bolsa fofa de coração da marca! Depois mostro meu estoque de coisas fofas que comprei, haha. O primeiro dia da convenção foi ótimo: o palco da moda sempre tinha algo bacana acontecendo. Um dos painéis era sobre "proto lolita", ou seja, como a moda conseguiu suas peças nos anos 60, 70, 80 e 90. Era em inglês, mas feito pela Tia, uma das meninas da comunidade tcheca.
After modeling for both the fashion show and the photos, we were free to do whatever we wanted at the convention. Because we modeled for AtePie, Connie offered us a discount in the pieces we wore. I swapped my blouse with one my colleagues and bought the cute heart bag from the brand! I will show my loot of cute things I bought later, haha. This first day of the convention was great: the fashion stage had always something cool going on. One of the panels was about the 'proto lolita', or how the fashion got their pieces in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. It was in english, but made by Tia, one of the girls from the czech comm.
Outro foi um ótimo painel com a Connie sobre a marca Atelier Pierrot. Alguns tópicos são abordados aqui, mas havia TANTO sobre a marca que eu não fazia ideia! Quantas peças eles produzem para cada design? Por que a comunidade internacional AMA roxo? Que cor é verde-limão? E o painel também estava cheio de memes ;)
Another was a great panel with Connie about Atelier Pierrot as a brand. Some topics are covered in here, but there was just SO MUCH about the brand that I had no idea! How many pieces they produce for each design? Why do the overseas community LOVES purple? What color is lime green? And the panel was full of memes too ;)
Algo muito legal foi essa enorme coleção de pôsteres sobre a evolução da comunidade lolita tcheca e eslovaca (havia painéis em inglês também), e esse canto adorável para leitura, CHEIO DE GOTHIC LOLITA BIBLES, Kera e todas as outras publicações que você possa imaginar, além de alguns zines feitos por mim sobre as comunidades locais!
Something really cool was this huge collection of posters about the evolution of the czech and slovak lolita comm (there were panels in english too), and this lovely corner for reading, FULL OF GOTHIC LOLITA BIBLES, Kera and all other publications you could think of, plus some self made zines about the local comms! I took a pic of my favorite read of the day too.
Também adorei o painel "The good, the bad and the ita" (um trocadilho com o filme "Três homens em conflito"), que comparava personagens de diferentes animes, séries, filmes e jogos, verificando se eram inspirados em lolita e o quão precisos eram. Era em tcheco e foi um pouco mais difícil para mim acompanhar, mas havia imagens, então eu sabia qual personagem estava sendo discutido. Estou chocada que Sakura, a Card Captor, não tenha sido apresentada (!!!!!!!!!). Então, perguntei sobre isso e recebi uma resposta interessante: ela é mais uma garota mágica do que uma fashionista, com o que concordo plenamente. Isso não invalida minha postagem, mwahahah!
I also loved the panel called "The good, the bad and the ita", that would compare characters from different animes, series, films and games, checking if they were lolita inspired and how accurate they were. This was in czech and was a bit harder for me to follow, but there were pictures, so I knew which character was being discussed. I am shocked Card Captor Sakura was not featured (!!!!!!!!!) So I asked about it and got an interesting answer - she is more like a magical girl than a fashion wearer, which I totally agree. This does not invalidate my post, mwahahah!
Para terminar o dia da melhor maneira possível, houve um show da Nana Kitade. Quando foi que imaginei que a veria ao vivo? NUNCA, mas aqui estamos. Ela estava realmente deslumbrante, com uma roupa branca do BTSSB, contrastando com seu cabelo fofo e todas as rosas vermelhas que carregava com o microfone. Todos nós gritamos e cantamos, mas acho que nunca chorei tanto quando ela cantou Suicide Love Story. O som e a letra me tocaram profundamente, tanto sentimento em uma música!! Ela foi ótima e voltou para o bis.
To end the day in the best manner possible, there was a Nana Kitade concert. When in my life did I imagine I was going to see her live?? NEVER, but here we are. She was truly gorgeous, decked in a white BTSSB outfit, contrasting with her cute hair and all the red roses she carried with the microphone. We all screamed and sang, but I think I never sobbed so hard when she sang Suicide Love Story. The sound and lyrics just pierced me so hard, so much feeling on a song!! She was great, and came back to an encore.
Domingo era pra ser mais tranquilo, então tomei café da manhã com meu marido, arrumei minhas coisas e fui pro evento por volta das 10. Como o chá da tarde se chamava Sussurros do Passado, usei um look oldschool ❤ graças ao JSK reversível, eu já tinha tudo planejado, haha
Sunday was supposed to be more relaxed, so I had breakfast with my hubby, packed my stuff and went to the event around 10. Since the tea party was called Whispers of the Past, I wore oldschool ❤ thanks to the reversible JSK, I had it all figured out, haha

Minha amiga Mayu me pegou desenhando para algumas pessoas que eu queria agradecer :3 Eu me sinto mais confortável quando consigo desenhar um pouco, então foi bem legal. O chá foi em um lugar separado do evento do anime, então foi tranquilo e relaxante. Havia flores por todas as janelas e um painel inteiro de flores para tirar fotos. E a comida estava boa, muitos parfaits pequenos e algumas guloseimas saborosas! Minha parte favorita foi o quarteto de cordas que tocou para nós - eles tocaram algumas músicas clássicas primeiro (acho que a 5ª de Beethoven foi a primeira que tocaram), algumas contemporâneas (uma música do Ed Sheeran!) e duas músicas do Apocalyptica - o que foi perfeito, porque eram quatro violoncelos! Eles tocaram Bittersweet e Quutamo. E para encerrar tudo, eles tocaram o Merry Go Round of Life, simplesmente incrível!
My friend Mayu caught me drawing for some people I wanted to thank :3 I feel more comfortable when I'm able to draw a bit, so it was quite nice. The tea party was in a separate place from the anime event, so it was quiet and relaxing. There were flowers all over the windows, and a whole panel of flowers for taking pictures. And the food was nice, lots of little parfaits and some savory treats! My favorite part was the string quartet that played for us - they had some classical songs first (I think Beethoven's 5th was the first they played), some contemporary ones (an Ed Sheeran song!) and two songs from Apocalyptica - which was perfect, because they were four cellos! They played Bittersweet and Quutamo. And to wrap it all, they played the Merry Go Round of Life, just amazing!
Passamos a maior parte do tempo conversando e tirando fotos, mas também houve uma sessão de perguntas e respostas sobre o AtePie com a Connie, alguns sorteios (eu não ganhei nada, hahaha) e os dois mais bem vestidos foram escolhidos pela organização e por Connie. Uma das meninas da minha mesa trouxe esta linda BJD para nos fazer companhia!
We spent most of the time chatting and taking pics, but there was also a Q&A about AtePie with Connie, some raffles (I didn't win anything, hahaha) and the two best dressed were chosen by the organization and by Connie. One of the girls on my table brought this gorgeous BJD to make us company!
Minhas amigas da Áustria avisaram rapidamente a mim e à Mayu que a Nana Kitade estava dando autógrafos, então corremos feito loucos para encontrá-la no horário (o horário acabaria por volta das 13h). Imagina correr em paralelepípedos com o RHS? Então...
My friends from Austria were quick to let me and Mayu know that Nana Kitade was giving out autographs so we RAN LIKE HELL to meet her on time (it would end around 1pm). Can you imagine running on cobblestones with RHS? so...
A Nana foi um amor e eu agradeci um pouquinho em japonês pela apresentação de ontem, mas ela também fala inglês muito bem. Comprei um pôster grande para o estande dela, além de um broche em formato de coração e uma foto da Instax. Aqui está minha querida amiga Mayu com seu pôster da Nana!
Nana was a sweetheart and I used a little bit of japanese to thank her for the performance yesterday, but she can also speak english very nicely. I bought a big poster on her stand, plus a heart shaped button and a instax picture. Here's my dear friend Mayu with her Nana poster!
O evento terminou mais cedo, então passei um tempo passeando por Brno com meu marido e fomos a um Izakaya ali perto ♥
The event ended earlier, so I spend some time touring around Brno with my hubby, and we hit an Izakaya nearby ♥
Estávamos mortos de cansaço quando chegou a hora de embarcar no ônibus de volta para Berlim. Tentei ao máximo mostrar tudo o que tinha visto no evento em uma foto, mas então percebi que o broche da Nana Kitade não estava lá, assim como o pôster dela e o chaveiro da AtePie...
We were dead tired when it was time to hop onto the bus back to Berlin. I tried my best to show everything I got from the event in one picture, but then I realized the Nana Kitade brooch was not there, as well as her poster, and the keychain from AtePie...
Só para dizer de novo, foi MÁGICO e adorei cada segundo dessa experiência em Brno. O cenário de anime e moda é ótimo lá, e todos foram muito simpáticos! Mal posso esperar para voltar e encontrar as pessoas adoráveis que conheci e/ou reencontrei!
Just to say again, it was MAGICAL and I loved every second of this experience in Brno. The anime and fashion scene are great in there, and everybody was so nice! I can't wait to go back and meet the lovely people I got to know and/or met again!
