A small customization
Eu recebi esse bonnet de presente da minha querida amiga Aline. Uma artista independente o fez anos atrás - a marca se chamava Mr. Nounou (eu tenho alguns outros itens deles!), mas a dona da marca a fechou para poder se focar na sua lojinha de pelúcias trevosas. Então, deixa eu mostrar pra vocês!
I got this bonnet as a gift from my dear friend Aline. An independent artist made it years ago - the brand was called Mr. Nounou (I own a couple other items from them!), but the owner soon close it down to focus on their creepy plushie shop. So, let's take a look at it!
Acho que hoje em dia é bastante raro ver full bonnets, com as parte de trás fechada! Esta é uma visão mais de perto:

Embora eu ache que este é um acessório de cabeça muito bem feito, não gosto muito da renda :x Não é áspera nem parece de plástico, mas tem um jeito meio rígido. A renda Guipire na parte de cima é linda, mas a da barra do bonnet... não gosto muito do aspecto dela não.
Even though I think this is a quite well done headpiece, I dislike the lace a lot :x It is not scratchy or plastic looking, but it feels stiff. The Guipire lace in the upper part is gorgeous, but the one on the bonnet's hem... I really do not like how it looks.
Antes de eu remover a renda, dê uma olhadinha na frente do bonnet - ele tem um reforço de tecido com franzidos! Ele me faz pensar nos bonnets da Triple Fortune. Acho que com poucos ajustes, esse bonnet pode ficar tão bonito quanto os da 3F! ♥
Before I remove that lace, just take a look on the front of the bonnet - it has an reinforced part with fabric gathering! This makes me think of Triple Fortune bonnets. I think with just a few adjustments this bonnet can be as pretty as the 3F ones! ♥
O primeiro passo foi desmanchar os pontos para tirar a renda. Comecei tirando a primeira camada de renda bem no alto do bonnet. Eu achava que a renda toda estava presa ali, mas não foi o caso.
The first step was to rip the seams to take out the lace. I began taking the first layer of lace that was only on top. I hoped all the lace would be attached there, but that was not the case.
Então, para retirar a outra renda, eu tive que separar as camadas de tecido. Aqui você pode ver a entretela, que a costureira usou pra fazer o bonnet ser mais estruturado! asdasd
So to take the other lace out, I had to separate the layers of fabric. Here you can see the interfacing, what the seamstress used to make the bonnet more structured!
Eu também mudei onde as fitas foram colocadas, porque eu não gostei dos "finais quadrados" do bonnet, agora a peça inteira parece mais bonita na minha opinião. Espero que vocês gostem do resultado final tanto quanto eu!
I also changed were the ribbons were placed, because I didn't like the "square endings" from the bonnet, now the whole piece feels prettier IMO. Hope you like the end result as much as I do!
