Passei a maior parte dos meus dias em minha cidade natal encontrando familiares e amigos queridos, mas esse post vai mostrar um pouco sobre nosso encontro lolita em Porto Alegre. Foi um dia de verão incrivelmente quente! Optei por um look full lolita mas acabei enrolando as meias na maioria das vezes pra ficar mais fresquinho :P foi isso que usei:

I spent most of my days in my hometown meeting family and dear friends, but this post will show you a bit about our lolita meetup in Porto Alegre. It was an incredibly hot summer day! I went for a full lolita look but endend up rolling down my socks most of the time :P this is what I wore:

Fiquei feliz que que minhas amigas sugeriram uma sorveteria para o encontro! Escolhi um sorvete com salada de frutas - não muito estético, mas bastante delicioso, então estou usando uma foto do sundae da minha amiga.

I'm very glad my friends suggested an ice cream shop for the meeting! I chose one with fruit salad - not very aesthetic but quite delicious, so I am using a pic from my friend's sundae.

Aliás, acima de 35°C tem muita menina sem usar blusa sob o JSK. Dependendo do estilo JSK, isso pode ficar muito bonito! Dini (a garota da foto do sorvete) fez ela mesma seu JSK. Muitas meninas usam seus itens artesanais, ou de marcas indie brasileiras (como Le Carrousel ou Lojinha da Annah Hel). O Aristocrata do nosso grupo estava usando uma camiseta de anime, que eu achei bem fofa e também muito mais refrescante - usar um casaco de alfaiataria de lã pesada não era opção :P Aqui está a foto do nosso grupo!

By the way, over 35°C there are many girls going blouseless. Depending on the JSK style, this can look quite beautiful! Dini (the girl from the ice cream pic) has made her JSK herself. Many girls wear their handmade items, or brazilian indie brands (like Le Carrousel or Lojinha da Annah Hel). The Aristocrat from our group was wearing an anime T-shirt, which I found quite cute and also, very refreshing - wearing a heavy tailored wool coat was no option :P Here's our group pic!

Também fiquei muito feliz em ver rostos novos! Adorei que muitos amigos antigos estavam lá (até alguns que nem usam mais lolita e não estavam na foto), mas ver que nossa comunidade EGL tem gente nova é muito animador ^^ Desejo tudo de melhor para os recém-chegados! Obrigada também Tay, por me ajudar a organizar tudo!

I was also quite happy to see new faces! I love that many old friends were there (even some who don't even wear lolita anymore and weren't in the pic), but seeing that our EGL comm has new people is very warming ^^ I wish all the best for the newcomers! Also thank you Tay, for helping me organize the whole thing!

Também fiz um pequeno sorteio durante o encontro. Espero que a nova dona (Aria) goste das coisas, principalmente do livro de adesivos do Japão!

I also did a small giveaway during the meetup. I hope the new owner (Aria) likes the things, especially the sticker book from Japan!

Depois do encontrinho, fui ver meu marido e um amigo dele em um festival de cerveja. Estou muito feliz que nosso amigo tirou essa foto! Minha cerveja preferida de lá é a da foto, uma Pastry Stout.

After the meetup, I went to meet my hubby and a friend of his in a beer festival. I'm very happy our friend took this pic! My favorite beer from there is the one in the photo, a Pastry Stout.
