Craft time!

Eu estava me sentindo um pouco inspirada para criar algumas coisas novas, e como hoje estava conversando com uma amiga sobre bolsas, pensei "por que não fazer a bolsa que estava na minha lista de artesanato há muito tempo?". Então, tenho muitos itens de feltro na minha lista de artesanato para fazer, porque não preciso fazer bainha e costurar na máquina, e também porque eles parecem muito 3D e vivos (principalmente se forem doces de feltro!). Aqui estão meus 3 itens mais recentes:

I was feeling a bit inspired to create some new stuff, and since I was talking with a friend about bags today, I thought "why not do the bag that was long due in my craft list?". So, I have a lot of felt items on my craft list to do, because I don't need to hem and sew by machine, and also because they look very 3D and alive (especially if they are felt sweets!). Here's my latest 3 items:

Esta marca se chama Cuki Bags (só consigo pensar em 'cookies' (biscoitos) quando leio o nome deles!) e faz bolsas lindíssimas de bolos realistas ou qualquer coisa inspirada em doces, na verdade. Ultimamente eles expandiram seus itens para ter também alguns acessórios menores, como lacinhos de cabelo e outros.

This brand is called Cuki Bags (I can only think of 'cookies' when I read their name!) and makes gorgeous life-like cake bags, or anything inspired in sweets actually. Lately they have expanded their items to have also some smaller accessories like hairclips and such.

Tenho algumas opções de feltro aqui em casa e queria experimentar criar algo em uma cor que ainda não tenho (não rosa), e uma das cores que vai estar em um vestido comprado recentemente é... azul escuro! Então resolvi optar por uma torta de mirtilo ❤

I have some felt options here at home and wanted to try creating something in a color I don't already own (not pink), and one of the colors that will be in a recently purchased dress is... dark blue! So I decided to go for a blueberry pie ❤

Não há muito o que dizer inicialmente, eu queria uma bolsa que fosse pequena, mas que ainda cabesse na minha carteira. Então isso dá cerca de 20 cm de diâmetro para uma bolsa redonda. Cortei um círculo azul e um marrom/caramelo, para que pudessem ser a parte inferior e superior da minha torta. Usando um pouco de conhecimento escolar de matemática, fiz a borda da bolsa ter um pouco mais de 60cm de comprimento (20cm x π) e cortei com uma borda ondulada. Para o topo da torta, também cortei algumas tiras bege (e assim terminei meu pedaço de feltro bege) e alguns círculos azuis redondos para fazer mini mirtilos.

There's not much to say initially, I wanted a bag that was somewhat small but that could fit my wallet still. So that is around 20cm in diameter for a round bag. I cut a blue round shape and a tan one, so they could be the bottom and top for my pie. Using school knowledge for math, I made the border of the bag be a bit more than 60cm long (20cm x π) and cut it with a wavy border. For the top of the pie, I also cut some tan/beige strips (and thus ended my beige felt piece) and a couple round blue circles for making mini blueberries.

Ainda estava testando com a treliça / tiras bege e me ocorreu que o que falta na minha torta é TEXTURA. A parte azul precisa de algo para fingir que há mais mirtilos em vez de um fundo plano, e as “tiras de torta” precisam de algum tipo de sombreamento para parecerem assadas, ou talvez até algo branco para açúcar de confeiteiro. Essa foto foi enquanto ela ainda parecia meio meh, mas depois de encontrar algumas bolas e miçangas azuis fofas.

I was still testing with the lattice / beige strips and it occured to me that what my pie lacks is TEXTURE. The blue part needs something to pretend there are more blueberries instead of a flat background, and the "pie strips" need some sort of shading so it can look baked, or even maybe something white for powdered sugar. This is while it was still looking kinda meh, but after finding some blue fluffy balls and beads.

Ela não tem fecho, pois a "abertura" da bolsa é uma fenda bem discreta. Fica super escondida, só serve para guardar itens pequenos e obviamente essa bolsa não aguenta muito peso, mas gostei do resultado (づ ◕‿◕ )づ

It doesn't have a zipper, as the "opening" of the bag is a very discreet slit. It's super hidden, it works only for small items and obviously this bag can't carry much weight, but I like how it turned out (づ ◕‿◕ )づ
