Trick or treat?

Assei uma fornada de muffins de baunilha e me arrumei para que meus vizinhos pudessem pedir seus "Süßes oder Säures" ("Doces ou travessuras" em alemão!). O Halloween é, infelizmente, a época temática do ano que menos gosto, mas achei que ser uma bruxinha bem doce ainda valeu a pena :)

I baked a batch of vanilla muffins and dressed up so my little neighbors could ask their "Süßes oder Säures" ("Trick or treat" in German!). Halloween is unfortunately my least favorite thematic season of the year, but I though being a very sweet witch was still worth it :)

Eu estava tendo um dia bem ruim antes das crianças chegarem, então estou muito feliz que elas bateram na minha porta! Todos os muffins se foram logo e a maioria dos doces acabou rapidamente. Depois peguei alguns doces extras na bolsa para passear pela vizinhança e oferecer se algum outro vizinho ainda estivesse lá fora. Meu marido também se arrumou!

I was having quite a bad day before the kids arrived, so I'm quite happy they knocked on my door! All the muffins and most candies were quickly gone. Then I got some extra candies in my bag to walk around the neighborhood and offer sweets if some other neighbors were still outside. My husband dressed up too!

Algumas crianças lembravam de mim como a “vizinha que faz bolinhos” (porque eu também fiz ano passado) ou “aquela que fala inglês”, haha. Achei bem fofo.

Some of the children remembered me as the "neighbor that makes muffins" (because I also did them last year) or "the one that speaks english", haha. I found it quite sweet.

Acho que meus looks de Halloween estão cada vez mais parecidos com a protagonista do meu mangá favorito atual, Schokohexe.

I think my Halloween looks are more and more looking like the main character of my current favorite manga, Schokohexe.
