Enquanto minha mãe ainda estava me visitando, eu a levei para Potsdam, uma cidade ao lado de Berlim que também tem castelos bonitos e muita história. Meus dois amigos Polonia e Amanda estavam lá com a gente! Eu usei lolita de um jeitinho mais casual:

While mom was still visiting me here, I took her to Potsdam, a city next to Berlin that also has pretty castles and lots of history. My two dear friends Polonia and Amanda were there with us! I wore lolita in a more casual approach:

Eu sinto que estava combinando com o taupe / terracota / bege dos prédios antigos XD A cidade é muito bonita, e em cada esquina havia algo bonito para ser visto. Esses portões ficaram lindos, aposto que dariam uma estampa bem gothic lolita! ♥

I feel like I was matching the taupe / terracotta / beige of the old buildings XD The city is quite pretty, and through every corner there was something beautiful to be looked at. These gates were gorgeous, I bet they would make a pretty gothic lolita print! ♥

Troquei para de sapato de salto bonitinhos para algumas fotos, mas na maioria das vezes eu estava usando sapatilha nude porque é bem melhor para caminhar. Essa é uma estratégia super válida se você quer caminhar longas distâncias em lolita! Leve sapatilhas confortáveis ou tênis limpinhos e bonitos com você. Eu só estou usando esses sapatos lolita aqui abaixo:

I changed between cute heel shoes for some pics, but most of the time I was wearing nude flats because they are way better for walking. This is a super valid strategy if you wanna walk long distances in lolita! Take comfy flats or clean, nice looking sneakers with you. I'm only wearing these lolita shoes here below:

O palácio de Sans Souci em si era lindo! A escadaria para finalmente poder ver de perto torna a coisa ainda mais incrível. Como diz a página da wikipedia em inglês (já que não sou tradutora de francês haha), "O nome do palácio é uma frase francesa (sans souci) que se traduz como "sem preocupações", enfatizando que o palácio foi concebido como um local de relaxamento, em vez de uma sede de poder."

Sans Souci palace itself was gorgeous! The stairway to finally get to see it close makes the thing even more amazing. As the wikipedia page says (as I'm not a french translator haha), "The palace's name is a French phrase (sans souci) that translates as "without concerns", emphasising that the palace was meant as a place of relaxation, rather than a seat of power."

Contei que estávamos fazendo um piquenique nos jardins do palácio? Nunca é tão glamoroso quanto parece, mas foi definitivamente delicioso e divertido. Apesar disso, não tirei fotos disso. Além disso, como todo o parque do palácio é enorme, havia outras belezas a serem descobertas por lá. Algumas das fachadas de construções antigas (como a antiga Universidade) são ainda mais interessantes do que o próprio palácio, na minha opinião. Quero visitar a cidade novamente com meu marido, e da próxima vez ir a alguns museus!

Did I tell you we were doing a picnic in the gardens of the palace? It's never as glamorous as it sounds, but it was definetely delicious and fun. Didn't take photos of it, though. Also, since the whole palace park is huge, there were other beauties to be discovered there. Some of the old constructions façades (such as the old University) are even more interesting than the palace itself, on my opinion. I want to visit the city again with my husband, and go in some museums next time!
