Muitos anos atrás, eu estava com meus amigos em Tóquio, em nossa viagem incrível, vivendo um sonho juntos. Uma das meninas sabia que nos primeiros dias do ano é costume as lojas japonesas terem grandes liquidações e descontos, inclusive lucky bags / Fukubukuro (福袋). Mais informações sobre essas vendas aqui. Era exatamente o que a gente queria: comprar roupas lolita fofas por menos preço! Então descemos até a Closet Child em Harajuku bem cedo, por volta das 7h da manhã.
Many years ago, I was with my friends in Tokyo, in our awesome trip, living the dream together. One of the girls knew that on the first days of the year, it is costumary to the japanese stores to have huge sales and discouts, including lucky bags / Fukubukuro (福袋). More info about these sales here. That was just what we wanted: to buy cute lolita clothes for less! So we went down to Closet Child in Harajuku absolutely early in the day, around 7 in the morning.
A própria Closet Child não tinha nenhum Fukubukuro, mas MUITOS itens estavam em promoção. Uma amiga me mostrou esse OP, completo com laço na cintura e mangas removíveis, que estava por menos de 2000¥ - só porque tinha umas manchinhas azuis na estampa. Fiquei com pena e levei para casa. Eu sabia que as manchas não eram ruins. Usei apenas uma vez aqui, antes de lavar.
Closet Child itself didn't have any Fukubukuro, but many MANY items were on sale. A friend showed me this OP, complete with the waist bow and removable sleeves, that was for under 2000¥ because it had some blue stains along the print. I felt sorry for it and took it home. I knew the stains weren't bad. I wore it only once here, before I even washed them off.
Muita coisa aconteceu entre minha volta do Japão e a minha saída da casa dos pais. O nome do post é em alusão ao título secundário de O Hobbit, na qual o personagem principal passa por uma aventura mágica (e misteriosa, e transformadora) e consegue voltar para casa para contar sua história. Gosto de pensar que meu vestido teve uma história enquanto estava no Japão, foi usado, se sujou e foi vendido, que foi transformado pelo meu cuidado e uso enquanto eu pude tirar as manchas, que minha amiga me ajudou e usou esse vestido também, e que ele voltou pra mim recarregado de amor com as novas aventuras que ele passou com minha amiga. ❤
A lot happened between my return from Japan and my leaving my parents' house. The name of the post is an allusion to the secondary title of The Hobbit, in which the main character goes through a magical (and mysterious, and transformative) adventure and manages to return home to tell his story. I like to think that my dress had a story while it was in Japan, it was worn, got dirty and sold, that it was transformed by my care and use while I was able to get the stains out, that my friend helped me and wore this dress too, and that he came back to me full of love with the new adventures he had with my friend. ❤
Fiquei preocupada quando vi que a embalagem estava rasgada, mas veio tudo perfeito por dentro, pois minha amiga embalou com muito cuidado. ^^

OLHA ESSA LINDEZA~! Ele se chama Paris Windows (Janelas de Paris), ou Paris no Mado (パリの窓柄). Antigamente algumas prints tinham dois nomes, um em inglês e um em japonês.

A estampa está cheia de pequenas ilustrações - talvez não como janelas parisienses reais, mas com muitos detalhes arquitetônicos rococós. Um verdadeiro sonho de princesa.
The print is full of small illustrations - maybe not in actual parisian windows, but in many rococo architectural details. A true princess dream.
As mangas destacáveis são em algodão puro, o tecido é grosso, com renda de algodão e fitas que parecem veludo. Posso usá-los para fazer um upgrade em outros coords lolita, se eu quiser!
The detachable sleeves are in pure, thick cotton, with cotton lace and velvet-like ribbons. I can use them to dress up other lolita coords, if I want to!
Tenho que admitir que o vestido é meio pequeno. De acordo com medidas Lolibrary, o busto pára em 84cm, já que não tem shirring. Eu sou pelo menos 8cm maior que isso, mas de alguma forma ainda cabe? Não sei, é MAGIA.
I have to admit that the dress feels kinda small. According to Lolibrary measurements, the bust stops at 84cm, since it has no shirring. I'm at least 8cm bigger than this, but somehow it still fits?? I don't konw, it's MAGIC.
