Sabaton + Babymetal Concert ♡

Enjoying some live music!

Faz muito tempo desde a última vez que fui a um show de rock. Foi antes do COVID, e fiquei muito feliz em ver que bandas que amo vinham para Berlim. Eu acho o Sabaton muito legal, mas eles estavam trazendo o BABYMETAL, então eu enlouqueci e tive que comprar um ingresso.

It's been a long time since I last went to a rock concert. It was before COVID, and I was very happy to see that bands that I love were coming here to Berlin. I think Sabaton is pretty cool, but they were bringing along BABYMETAL so I got batshit and just had to buy myself a ticket.

Eu gosto das 3 bandas, então talvez fosse a oportunidade perfeita para sair e conhecer a Mercedes Benz Arena, onde seria o show. Esta é a única foto decente que consegui antes do show:

I like all the 3 bands, so maybe it would be the perfect opportunity to go out and get to know the Mercedes Benz Arena, where the show would be. This is the only decent picture I could get before the show:

Essa é uma maneira muito casual de me vestir: um casaco grande sobre minhas roupas e sem acessórios na minha cabeça. (Quero dizer, acessórios de cabelo para bater cabeça não fazem muito sentido, eles cairiam na primeira oportunidade, hahaha.)

Do lado de fora da Arena encontrei esta placa. Fiquei meio triste por Chester e pela banda, por lembrar de tudo, mas também um bocado feliz por termos tantos fãs de Linkin Park aqui na Alemanha e por sua música ter alcançado tantos corações. ❤

That's a very casual way for me to dress up: a big coat over my clothes, and no accessories in my head. (I mean, hair accessories for headbanging dont't make much sense, they'd fall on the first opportunity, hahaha.)

On the outside of the Arena I found this sign. Got me a bit sad for Chester and the band, but also kinda glad that we have so many Linkin Park fans here in Germany, and that their music has reached so many hearts. ❤

Eu realmente amo esse brinco de espada, acho que é cavalheiresco e romântico ao mesmo tempo, e foda badass também! *__*

Sobre o show: Eu sabia que a banda Lordi seria a primeira, e a música deles era bem legal. Eu só conhecia duas músicas, Hard Rock Hallelujah e Devil is a Loser, e eles tocaram essas duas músicas bem no final. ENTÃO VEIO BABYMETAL e eu não conseguia ficar parada! Foi muito legal ver que a Momo-metal agora faz parte oficialmente do time, junto com a Su-metal e a Moa-metal, ela se encaixa muito bem nas danças. Eles tiveram que mudar um pouco uma música para fazer o nome dela caber (a música se chama DEATH), mas foi a única adaptação que vi. E a banda tocou todas as músicas mais famosas (Megitsune, Gimme Chocolate, Pa Pa Ya) e fechou com Road of Resistance, foi mais do que incrível!

About the concert: I knew that the band Lordi would be the first, and their music was pretty cool. I only knew two songs, Hard Rock Hallelujah and Devil is a Loser, and they played these two songs right at the end. THEN CAME BABYMETAL and I couldn't sit still! It was really nice to see that Momo-metal is oficially part of the team now, along with Su-metal and Moa-metal, she fits really well in the dances. They had to change slightly a song to make her name fit (the song is called DEATH) but it was the only adaption I saw. And the band played all the most famous songs (Megitsune, Gimme Chocolate, Pa Pa Ya) and closed with Road of Resistance, it was beyond amazing!

O show do Sabaton depois foi igualmente empolgante, mas foi de uma maneira completamente diferente: a música deles é como ter aulas de história, mas com tanques e aviões no palco, e referências, e muitos solos de guitarra. Realmente incrível, e também muito de boas - o dos guitarristas e o cantor costumavam conversar com a multidão e fazer piadas ou contar histórias de shows anteriores, foi uma experiência incrível!

Sabaton's concert afterwards was equally exciting, but went in a completely different way: their music is like having history classes, but with tanks and airplanes on the stage, and references, and many guitar solos. Really amazing, and also really easy going - the one of the guitarrists and the singer would often talk to the crowd and joke or tell stories from former concerts, it was an amazing experience!

Depois do show pude finalmente encontrar alguns amigos que estavam lá, o que também me deixou muito feliz. Foi tão bom discutir tudo o que vimos e ouvimos!

Só sei que da próxima vez que tiver a oportunidade de ver bandas como essa, não vou pegar um lugar sentada não, quero ficar com a galera perto do palco!

After the concert I could finally meet a couple friends who were there, that also made me very happy. It was so good to discuss everything we had seen and heard!

All I know is that the next time I get te opportunity to see bands like this, I won't be getting a seated place, I wanna stand with the crowd next to the stage!
