Esse "got lolita" tem mais a ver com meu lado que curte gothic, mas talvez seja uma peça que vocês também se interessem de ver. Esse post pode ser meio NSFW por conta de uma única foto.

This "got lolita" has more to do with my gothic side, but maybe it's something you will enjoy seeing and learning more about. This post might be NSFW because of a single picture.

A ideia era ter uma peça que não só fosse esteticamente bonita, mas que talvez pudesse ajudar a deixar a cinturinha um pouquiiiito menor (só alguns cm) para fazer certas peças de brand ficarem um pouco mais confortáveis em mim. Sei que isso não é um espartilho feito por uma corsetmaker profissional e não é uma peça com o mesmo nível de durabilidade, mas enquanto o orçamento pra isso não vem (e como a black friday fez o preço cair muito), acho que tem potencial...

The idea was to have a piece that was not only aesthetically pretty, but that also could help to make my waist a liiiittle smaller (an inch or so) just to make certain brand pieces fit me more comfortably. I know this is not a high quality corset made by a professional corsetmaker, and it does not have the same level of durability, but while my budget for this does increase (and since black friday made the price go down), I think there's still a nice potential to it...

Na primeira vez que mexi na peça, senti que ela é bem feita. Nenhuma costura se soltando. Eu já tive outros corpetes (peças só estéticas, sem ter como reduzir medidas ou algo assim) e essa atual é bem mais firme do que as outras que eu vi e vesti.

Right at the first time I was poking around it, I felt it is nicely made. No loose seams. I have owned other corset-like pieces (they were only aesthetic, unable to reduce measurements or something like that) and this current thing is way more strong and rigid that any other I've owned.

Sempre use alguma blusa por baixo do corset! Ah, é importante usar um sutiã bom também (especialmente se você tiver o peito grande) porque TUDO vai se deslocar junto, então é bom garantir que todas as partes do corpo estão nos seus lugares certos :P

Always wear something under your corset! Ah, it's also important to wear a good bra (especially if you are bigger in the chest) because EVERYTHING will move along, so it's better to make sure every body part is in its proper place :P

Como comparação, eu usei um "corselet" (só bonitinho, sem barbatanas, não tem o mesmo poder de apertar que o corset) aqui pra fazer um look erololita. Foi em 2015.

As a comparison, I worn a "corselet" (something only pretty, no boning, it can't squeeze you like a corset) here to make an erololita look. It was in 2015.

 

Nesse look, se eu tirasse meu bolero, as costas ficavam completamente de fora. Era bonito, mas com o corset atual, esse não é o objetivo - até porque tem um protetor para as costas (também descrito em alguns lugares como "modesty panel" hahaha).

In this look, if I took of my bolero, my back would be pretty much naked. It was pretty, but with the current corset, this is not the objective - even more because it has a back protection (also described in some places as "modesty panel" hahaha).

Bom, vamos aos looks lolita? Primeiro, temos o corset sendo usado sob as roupas. Fica mais fácil deixar a camisa esticada.

Penso que o espartilho sobre as roupas faz mais sentido num coordinate mais gothic. Essa saia é muito romântica pra isso... As minhas peças gothic lá no Brasil estão me fazendo falta, hahahha. Quem sabe eu tento costurar algo em breve?

I think the corset on top of the clothing makes more sense in a more gothic coordinate. This skirt is too romantic for that... My gothic pieces back there in Brazil are definitely lacking on my current wardrobe, hahaha. Maybe I can try sewing something soon?

Penso que, se eu me adaptar em usar esse corset com regularidade, se eu ver que não me machuca e ajuda no visual, dá pra planejar pegar algo mais profissional num futuro próximo. ❤ Ficam aqui os sonhos de consumo: um underbust de verdade da Madame Sher ou pelo menos um Elastique. Claro, tem outras corsetières no Brasil que admiro muito, e ainda não conheço nada dos europeus para poder opinar melhor. Aceito recomendações!

I think that, if I can get used to wearing this corset regularly, if I see it doesn't actually hurt and it helps on my looks, I can plan of buying a next level piece next time. ❤ My dream items currently are a true underbust corset from Madame Sher and / or an Elastique. Of course, there are many other corsetières in Brazil that I admire a lot, and I don't know anything about the european makers yet to have any opinion. I'd love some recommendations!
