Sakizo é uma artista japonesa com um estilo artístico bem característico, over the top e cheio de detalhes. Muitas ela faz tudo em aquarela, raras vezes é arte digital. Ela costuma ilustrar mulheres e meninas em situações fantásticas, com cabelos incríveis e roupas cheias de enfeites e jóias.
Sakizo is a japanese artist with a very characteristic artistic style, very over the top and full of details. Many times she makes everything with watercolors, rarely her arts are digital (or digitally enhanced). She usually illustrates girls and women in fantastic situations, with amazing hair and clothing full of embellishments and jewels.
Entre os estilos de roupas desenhados, temos as silhuetas mais lolita (saias no joelho), as mais curtinhas deixando MUITA perna à mostra, e algumas que vão até o chão. Pessoalmente, adoro quando ela faz algumas das roupas parecer ser feitas de bolo!
Among the clothing styles that she draws, we have the more lolita-like sillouettes (knee-lenght skirts), the shortest skirts leaving A LOT of leg exposed, and some floor-lenght gowns. I personally adore when she does some cloting look like they're made of cake!
Considerando as roupas detalhadíssimas que ela desenha, até com meias intrincadas, isso abriu caminho para que a Sakizo tivesse parceria com algumas marcas lolita. A marca coreana Baroque já lançou meias lindíssimas em parceria com a artista, e também algumas estampas de vestidos.
Considering the super detailed garments that she draws, including intrincate socks, this opened way so Sakizo could make collabs with some lolita brands. The corean brand Baroque already released gorgeous socks in a collaboration with the artist, as well as a couple printed dresses.

Muitas das ilustrações que a Sakizo faz são pra retratar especificamente lolitas, enquanto outras são simplesmente personagens com roupas maravilhosas. Óbvio que isso ia nos agradar, mas também tem outro público que adora a Sakizo: cosplayers!
Many of the illustration that Sakizo makes depict girls in lolita, while other are just characters in amazing clothes. Obviously it would please us lolita wearers, but there is another audience that also loves Sakizo: cosplayers!
No seu site, na área sobre cosplay, Sakizo diz que agradece muito a quem faz os cosplays baseados na arte dela e pede que usem o aviso “from sakizo’s illustration” para ela poder encontrar depois. Ela também pede desculpas por não saber responder em inglês pra quem manda mensagens queridas pra ela. Achei uma fofa ♥♥
In her website, in the cosplay area, Sakizo thanks a lot those who cosplay her artwork, and asks people to write “from sakizo’s illustration” on the cosplay photo captions so she can find them later. She also apologizes for not being able to answer fans in english ♥♥ what a sweetheart!!
Os livros de arte e ilustração que a Sakizo faz são absolutamente fantásticos. Um dos mais curiosos é o Dress Up Doll, que é realmente um livro de bonecas de papel para vestir, todas bem princesas! A imagem abaixo é um trechinho desse livro:
The artbooks that Sakizo does are really stunning. One of the most curious (in my opinion) is called Dress Up Doll, which is a real paper doll book, with really princess-like looks! The image below is a small excerpt of that book:
