Got Lolita ♡ After 2 years of waiting

Recebidos lolita! ♡ Sim, finalmente recebi uma compra depois de dois anos. Mas por favor não pense que isso é algo mal! Lolita é uma moda que sempre me fez esperar, a paciência é a chave para conseguir coisas legais. Viva o Slow Fashion*!

Yep, I finally received some stuff after waiting for two years. But please don't think this is somthing bad! Lolita is a fashion that always made me wait, patience is key to get nice things! Go go Slow Fashion*!

Eu me lembro de comprar o "JSK de Piquenique" da ETC quando uma amiga querida estava saindo de São Paulo pra Alemanha. Eu ia pagar pelo frete pra minha cidade quando descobri que também ia me mudar pra Europa em breve, daí pedi pra amiga levar o JSK na mala que eu pegaria quando estivesse lá. Encurtando a história, isso nunca aconteceu XD

I remember buying the ETC "Picnic JSK" when a dear friend was moving from São Paulo to Germany. I was going to pay the shipping to my city when I found out I was also going to move to Europe soon, so I said "please carry it in your suitcase that I'll get it when I move!". Long story short, it never happened XD

Entre ficar sem trabalho, minha amiga ficando sem tempo e meus planos de visitá-la não acontecendo, ela voltou para visitar o Brasil, cerca de 1 ano depois. E de lá ofereceu outra preciosidade para eu comprar: uma bolsa dourada linda da MILK! Da mesma forma, ela se ofereceu para levar a bolsa pra Europa e eu pagaria pelo frete de tudo junto para Portugal.

Among my being without a work for a long while, my friend without much free time and my plan of visiting her not working out, she went back to Brazil for visiting, circa 1 year later. And from there she offered another precious item for sale: a golden, beautiful bag from MILK! Same thing, she offered me to take the bag to Europe with her and I'd pay for shipping to Portugal, everything combined.

Daí, praticamente um outro ano depois, eu e meu marido nos organizamos para ir visitar a amiga em Hamburgo, já que nos mudamos para a Alemanha. Além de aproveitar para rever aquela pessoa tão querida, conhecemos lugares lindos na cidade e eu voltei com esses tesouros preciosos pra casa. Minha amiga ainda colocou uma cartinha, uns docinhos deliciosos de matcha e MAIS UM VESTIDO DE PRESENTE 😲

Then, almost another year later, my husband and I managed to visit my friend in Hamburg, since we also moved to Germany. Not only I enjoyed seeing my dear friend again, we also got to know the beautiful city and I came home with my new treasures! My friend also gave me a little leter, some matcha candy and A DRESS AS A GIFT 😲

Eu gosto desse vestido desde que coloquei os olhos nele. Ele tem um jeito doce que não é super açucarado - dá pra ficar mais casual se eu quiser, ou ficar todo cheio de cerejinhas e frutinhas vermelhas pra fazer algo pensado no verão! Esse foi meu coordinate (no caso, flatlay) com ele.

I like this dress since I first put my eyes on it. It has a sweet way that is not super sugary - it can look more casual if I want to, or get all pumped up with cherries and red berries to make it super summer-like! This was my coordinate (a flatlay) with it.

Ele ainda tem um detalhe lindo nas costas, que são dois lacinhos! Ele fecha com um zíper na lateral.

It has a lovely detail on the back, two ribbons! It closes with a lateral zipper.

A estampa também é linda, com essas mesas de piquenique e toalha xadrez. A print mostra comidinhas bonitas e até uma boneca participando dessa Tea Party ou piquenique.

The print is also gorgeous, with picnic tables and a gingham towel. The print shows cute food and even a doll enjoyinf this pretty tea party or picnic.

O outro vestido é lindo mas um pouco mais complicado de coordenar - eu não tenho nada em azul! Assim, usei só acessórios brancos. O headdress é aquele que eu fiz no outro tutorial! Ah, esse vestido tem um formato a-line, é bem soltinho no corpo e vestiu super bem.

The other dress was trickier to coordinate - I don't own anything blue! Therefore, I used only white accessories. The headdress is the one I made on that tutorial! Ah, this dress has a a-line shape, it is quite like a sack and actually fits very nicely.

Infelizmente não consegui descobrir o modelo desse vestido. Acho as rendas e o detalhe no peito lindíssimo! Estou chamando ele de "Blue Roses JSK" até o momento, se você souber o nome ou encontrá-lo no Lolibrary, por favor me fale! Eu agradeço muito.

Unfortunately, I could not find the model of this cute dress. The laces and detailing on the chest are lovely! I'm calling it "Blue Roses JSK" at the moment, if you know the name or found it on Lolibrary, please tell me! I'd appreciate that

Por fim, a bolsa. Eu não tenho certeza se é original ou réplica, mas estou feliz com ela mesmo assim. Ela é ENORME, cabe muita coisa dentro!

Last but not least, the bag. I'm not sure if it is original or a replica, but I love it nonetheless. It is HUGE, lots of things can fit inside!

Ela tem dois bolsos internos, e dois puxadores no zíper, ambos em formato de coração

It has two internal pockets, and two zipper pullers (?), both heart-shaped.

Não tenho sapatos dourados (agora quero ter, haha) mas acho que ela é neutra o suficiente pra combinar com muita coisa. Acho que tem muito potencial, inclusive com os vestidos que recebi!

I don't own gold shoes (now I want, though...) but I think it is still neutral enough to match many coordinates. I think it has a lot of potential, including with the dresses I received!

*"Slow fashion" não significa que é uma moda necessariamente que demora muito a chegar até você, mas é um termo em oposição ao "fast fashion" - as lojas que produzem peças super baratas e super rápido para vender naquela semana e logo serem substituídas por peças novas, gerando um consumo excessivo. Slow Fashion é para falar das roupas que são feitas com cuidado, por trabalhadores bem remunerados OU com materiais mais sustentáveis OU simplesmente que não sofrem os "vem e vai" de tendências de moda, OU AINDA que são feitas para durar por muitos e muitos anos. Na minha visão, a moda lolita como um todo se encaixa nisso ♡

*"Slow fashion" doesn't mean that is a fashion that takes too long to get to you, but works as a term in opposition of "fast fashion" - shops that produce a million cheap things super fast in order to sell everything quickly and push new trends and styles just the following week, creating an excessive consumerism. Slow fashion talks about clothing that is made with care, with well paid workers, OR with more sustainable materials OR simply that are not quickly affected by crazy fashion trends, OR YET are made to last for years and years. On my way of seeing the world, lolita fashion as a whole fits this definition.
