Lembro-me como se fosse ontem. Era fevereiro de 2025 e eu conversava com uma amiga sobre o quanto amo a colaboração da Hello Kitty com a AP e como eu queria que ela fosse relançada; um dia depois, a AP anunciou que relançaria os anéis, as pulseiras e as meias, além de criar um novo conjunto de vestido para a Hello Kitty e para outros dois personagens da Sanrio (Cinnamoroll e Kiki & Lala). Foi algo tão mágico! Entrei em contato com a AP Paris por e-mail e me informaram que era uma exclusividade do Japão. Então, tive que recorrer a um serviço de compras para conseguir o que eu queria...
I remember like it was yesterday. It was february 2025 and I was talking to a friend about how much I love the Hello Kitty x AP collab, and how I wish it was re-released, and one day later AP announced that they were going to re-release the rings, bangles, socks and create a new dress set for Hello Kitty, and for other two Sanrio characters (Cinnamoroll and Kiki&Lala). It felt just so magical??? I asked AP Paris per e-mail and they told me that was a Japan exclusive only. So I had to talk to a shopping service to get what I wanted...
Eu não tinha grana pro vestido, mas queria muito um anel e uma pulseira. Eles são lacinhos da HK tão perfeitos!!! Eu me lembro que a pre-order foi em março, e a data de entrega era pra ser em outubro. A foto abaixo foi do desfile. Tinha dois conjuntos de vestidos: o Kawaii Kitty (esse com avental), um relançamento do original de 2009, e o set de luxo da HK, um vestido OTT maravilhoso. O de 2004 é muito mais simples que esses.
I didn't have money for the dress, but I really wanted a ring and a bracelet. They are such perfect Hello Kitty ribbons! I remember the pre-order was in March, and the expected delivery was in October. The pic below was from the fashion show. There were two dress sets: the Kawaii Kitty (this one with apron), a re-release from the 2009 original, and the deluxe Hello Kitty set, a beautiful OTT dress. The 2004 version is way simpler than those ;)
No entanto, a data de entrega foi adiada em pelo menos um mês, e decidi não perguntar nada... Quando finalmente perguntei, a pessoa responsável pelas compras não respondeu por semanas porque estava muito doente; a comunicação era extremamente lenta ou feita pelo Facebook (desativei minha conta anos atrás e, pois é, não foi fácil acompanhar a situação por lá). Demorou bastante até eu receber um e-mail perguntando qual método de envio e forma de pagamento eu preferia. Depois disso, acho que os itens simplesmente se teletransportaram magicamente para Berlim em menos de três dias. Tive que pagar as taxas alfandegárias na entrega, mas, por sorte, dessa vez eu tinha exatamente a quantia certa em notas e moedas!
However the delivery date was postponed for at least one month, and I decided not to ask... When I finally asked, my shopping service didn't reply for weeks, because she was super sick, and things were communicated super slowly or through Facebook (I deactivated my account years ago and, yeah, it was not easy for me to check on that). It took a long while, until I got an email asking for my preferred shipping method and payment. From that, I think the items just teleported magically to Berlin in less than 3 days. I had to pay customs at my door, but I somehow had the right amount of bills and coins this time!
Eeee tinha até uma sacolinha pequena da AP dentro da caixa!! Yay!!
Aaaaand there was even a small AP bag inside the box!! Yay!!
Tudo cuidadosamente embalado, com alguns extras: um bloquinho de notas, adesivos (ou tatuagens temporárias, não tenho certeza, haha) e lenços em uma embalagem fofa. Fiquei muito feliz com isso!
All carefully packed with a couple extras - a memo pad, stickers (or temporary tattoos, I'm not sure haha) and tissues in a cute packaging. Happy for that!
Eu achava que tinha pedido um item rosa e um vermelho, mas depois conferi meus e-mails. Acabei pedindo tudo em vermelho porque já tenho coisas rosa suficientes. Faz sentido. Eu amei. O vermelho é marcante e as peças parecem mágicas. A Hello Kitty ficaria orgulhosa. Há uma pequena Hello Kitty estampada na parte interna do anel e também na parte de dentro do bracelete.
I thought I had ordered a pink and a red item, but then I checked my emails. I ordered everything red because I already own enough pink stuff. Fair. I love them. Red is BOLD and they look magical. Hello Kitty would be proud. There is a small Hello Kitty printed inside the ring band and the inner side of the bangle as well.
E aqui estão eles sendo usados! Usei esta tesoura para abrir a embalagem e acho que eles combinam. Na verdade, muitas das minhas coisas combinam com eles... Estou superfeliz com essa compra que fiz no ano passado! Mal posso esperar para usá-los na rua. :3
And here are they worn! I used these scissors to open the package, and I think they match. Lots of my stuff actually match them... I feel super happy with this purchase from last year! Can't wait to wear them outside :3
