Quando vi este vestido no Swap Meet, ele roubou meu coração. Ele trazia a minha combinação de cores favorita no estilo Lolita e, além disso, é uma estampa oldschool — eu só conseguia imaginar o quão adorável ele ficaria com uma anágua pequena e RHS... Eu já tinha o coord inteiro montado na minha cabeça, e a amiga que o estava vendendo pedia um preço tão baixo!!! Este é o "Alice Monochrome JSK" — ou "Spring Whisper Alice JSK", em sua versão de lançamento com cor especial.

When I saw this dres on the Swap Meet, my heart was stolen. It had my fav color combo in lolita, plus it is an oldschool print, I could only imagine how adorable this with a small petti and RHS would look like... I had the whole coord in my head, and the friend who was selling it wanted such a low price!!! This is "Alice Monocrome JSK", or "Spring Whisper Alice JSK" in the special colorway release.

Daí quando eu experimentei, ele não fechava o zíper até o fim. Mas talveeeeez podia funcionar?

Then when I tried it on, it would not zip until the end. But it still kinda could maaaaybe work?

Também notamos uma mancha amarelada na parte da frente do vestido. Havia vários pontos de descoloração onde o vestido é dobrado ou vincado — como nas pregas-caixa e também nas pregas finas.

We also noticed a yellowish stain on the front of the dress. There were several discoloration points where the dress is folded/pressed, like the box pleats and pintucks too.

A parte de trás do vestido tá boa. Só estou em dúvida: devo fazer o franzido aqui atrás ou fazê-lo na frente (onde estão as pregas) e, de alguma forma, deixá-lo mais parecido com o vestido original da BTSSB que inspirou este JSK? O franzido na parte de trás também ficaria parecido com a releitura que a BTSSB fez dessa estampa.

The back of the dress looks ok. I am just wondering, should I add shirring here in the back, or add it on the front (where the pintucks are) and somehow make it more similar to the original BTSSB dress that inspired this JSK? The shirring in the back would also be similar to BTSSB's revamp of this print.

Primeiro, lavei o vestido — e você não acreditaria no quanto a tinta preta soltou do tecido! Felizmente, não manchou as partes mais claras. Depois de abrir as costas, experimentei o vestido novamente e percebi que ele ainda não caía no corpo do jeito que eu queria (por causa do meu busto), então tive que fazer algo mais radical...

I first washed the dress and you would not believe how much the black ink bled from the fabric! Thankfully it did not stain the lighter parts. After opening the back, I tried the dress on again and realized it still did not sit as I wanted on my body (because of my chest), so I had to do something more radical...

Em seguida, separei a saia do corpete e comecei a retocar o preto com tinta. Sim, usando uma caneta para tecido. Isso levou uma eternidade, mas ficou pronto! A saia não terá mais pregas-caixa; caso contrário, o franzido que adicionei não funcionaria. Além disso, cortei os ombros. Isso proporcionará maior liberdade de movimentos, já que as alças serão fixadas por meio de botões. O resultado deve ficar mais ou menos assim:

I then separated the skirt from the bodice, and began re-inking the black. Yes, with a fabric pen. This took forever, but it was done! The skirt will not be with box pleats anymore, otherwise my shirring addition will not work. Plus, I cut the shoulders off. this will add more ease of movement, since the straps will be attached through buttons. It should look more or less like this:

Não sou a maior fã de como a renda ficou na barra (me desculpe!), pois, quando a renda é tão longa e fluida assim, prefiro que ela fique em uma parte separada da saia, em vez de presa diretamente à barra. Não vou remover a renda, porque daria trabalho demais. Enfim, quer ver o resultado? Aqui está o vestido reconstruído:

I am not the biggest fan of how the lace looks on the hem (I'm sorry!), when there is such long, floaty lace, I prefer that it stays in a separate part of the skirt instead of directed attached to the hem. I won't detach the lace because it is too troublesome. Anyway, do you wanna see the results? Here is the reconstructed dress:

Agora que o vestido tem um estilo frente única, ele veste de forma mais confortável em mim — e também serve em pessoas um pouco maiores do que eu. O franzido não é muito grande, mas está bem melhor do que antes:

Since it is a halterneck style dress now, it sits more comfortably on me, and it can also fit people sligtly bigger than me too. The shirring is not too big, but it is way better than it was before:

Talvez eu use o resto do tecido que sobrou pra fazer um laço removível. Por enquanto, esse é meu coord, o que você acha?

I might use the rest of the fabric to create a new detachable bow. For now, this is my coord, what do you think?

Foto bônus: os clipes que eu usei pra costurar eram tão fofos! Eu também fiz esses brincos um tempo atrás usando umas fitinhas que sobraram das coisas da BTSSB, e usei com esse coord.

Bonus pic: the clips I was using for sewing were so cute! Also, I made these earrings a while ago using some leftover BTSSB ribbon, and wore on this coord.
