Há algumas semanas, Tsuyu nos convidou para um pequeno encontro para ver uma instalação de arte da artista japonesa Ayako Rokkaku. Esta foi a roupa que usei lá:

A couple weeks ago, Tsuyu invited us for a mini meet, to see an art installation from the japanese artist Ayako Rokkaku. This is what I wore there:

O lugar todo estava repleto de suas esculturas e pinturas interessantes e fofas. Acho que minha favorita era a caverna fofinha - se fosse possível, eu adoraria entrar lá. Parecia um espaço rosa aconchegante e seguro. Tiramos uma linda foto de grupo na frente dela! Ainda não vou postar porque não perguntei às pessoas se eles queriam que a foto deles estivesse aqui; talvez eu atualize este post mais tarde.

The whole place was full of her interestingly cute sculptures and paintings. I think my favorite was the fluffy cave - if it was possible, I'd love to crawl inside. It looked like a comfy, safe pink space. We took a lovely group pic in front of it! I am not posting yet because I didn't ask them if they wanted to have their pic here, I might update this post later on.

As pinturas de Ayako Rokkaku são feitas à mão — quero dizer, com as pontas dos dedos, sem pincel. Adorei a textura e o toque! Se não fossem tão caras, adoraria ter uma delas, ou cartões-postais com as pinturas. Acho que são inspiradoras. As esculturas de vidro também eram muito legais e coloridas!

Ayako Rokkaku's paintings are done by hand - I mean, by her FINGERTIPS, no paint brush involved. I really like their texture and feel! If they weren't mega expensive, I'd love to have one of them, or postcards with that. I think they are inspiring. The glass sculptures were also really cool and colorful!

Também havia pequenos pedaços de material fofo no chão. Algumas dessas esculturas tinham coelhinhos (adoráveis!), outras não. Elas me pareceram extremamente familiares: lembram o que acontece depois de um encontro, quando tiramos a roupa e a deixamos empilhada. Também me lembrei da minha pilha de materiais de artesanato na mesa, antes de finalmente organizá-la. Me senti representada XD

There were also these smaller blobs of fluff material on the floor. Some of these sculptures had bunnies too (adorable!), some didn't. They were for me extremely familiar: they resemble what happens after a meetup, when we take off our clothes and leave them on a pile. I also thought of my craft pile on my table, before I finally organized it. I feel seen XD

Gostei que a exposição não fosse muito grande e que houvesse espaço suficiente entre as obras para que eu pudesse pensar e respirar. Aqui tem mais informações. Depois que nosso grupo foi a um café e não havia lugar para nós, tentamos pegar um ônibus (também sem lugar) e fomos a pé até a próxima estação de metrô. Lá, fomos para outro lugar e encontramos um café novo (?) chamado La Dolceria.

I like that the exhibit was not super big, and there was space enough between the works so I could think and breathe. Here some more info. After our group went to a café and they had no place for us, we tried boarding one bus (also no place for us) and we went by foot to the next U-Bahn station. We then left to a different place, and found a new (?) café called La Dolceria.

Foi ótimo relaxar lá e tomar um cappuccino. A decoração interna era bem bonita / moderna / minimalista, com toques de rosa. Eles também tinham sorvete artesanal, que estava delicioso. Espero que possamos fazer mais encontros rápidos como esse em breve!

It was nice to just chill there and sip some cappuccino, their decoration inside was quite pretty / modern / minimalist but with touches of pink. They have also artisanal ice cream, which was delicious. I hope we can make more mini meetings like this in the near future!!
