Enquanto minha sogra estava hospedada conosco, ela me disse que gostaria de experimentar meus vestidos fofos. Prometi que faria uma pequena festinha do chá / teaparty para ela, então aqui estamos!

While my Mother in Law was staying with us, she told me she wanted to try my cute dresses once. I promised I'd do a little tea party for her, so here we are!

Eu sempre gosto de deixar as pessoas experimentarem este vestido verdinho / mint porque o franzido/shirring dele acomoda muitos tamanhos e o tecido é um algodão confortável. A blusinha também é confortável, então acho que é bom pra causar uma boa primeira impressão da peça, principalmente se a pessoa que vai usar não está acostumada com roupas mais justas no busto ou na cintura. Anáguas não fazem mais parte do vestuário diário da maioria das pessoas, então, é claro, elas não estão acostumadas com o peso e a pressão que uma anágua exerce.

Apesar de tudo isso, ela me disse que achou divertido, e nós comemos cheesecake e tomamos chá juntas - e mandamos fotos para nossas famílias, hahaha!

I always like letting people try this mint-colored dress on because the shirring is very forgiving and the fabric is a comfy cotton. The top is equally comfy, so I think it is good to cause a good first impression of the fashion, especially if the new wearer is not used to clothes that are tighter on the chest or waist. Petticoats are not part of daily wear for most people anymore, so they are of course not used to the weight and pressure a petti has.

Despite all of this, she told me she found it fun, and we ate cheesecake and drank tea together - and sent pictures to our families, hahaha!
