A bit of motivation

Quando me sinto entediada ou pra baixo (ou às vezes ambos), tenho a tendência de procurar lojas on-line ou vendas de segunda mão. Isso significa MUUUITO tempo no Lacemarket, Aliexpress, site da AP de Paris, Buyee e muitas coisas semelhantes. Não é só lolita que procuro, mas geralmente é a minha preferência porque gosto de ver coisas bonitas e imaginar que poderiam ser minhas. Isso às vezes me deixa um pouco ansiosa, então definitivamente não resolve meus problemas nem me ajuda de forma alguma.

When I am feeling bored or down (or sometimes both) I have the tendency to browse online for shops or second-hand sales. This means a LONG ass time on Lacemarket, Aliexpress, AP's Paris website, Buyee and a lot of similar stuff. It's not only lolita that I look for, but usually it is my go-to because I like seeing pretty things and imagining they could be mine. This sometimes makes me a bit anxious, so it definitely does not solve my problems or help me in any way.

No entanto, também sei que quando estou me sentindo assim, é um bom momento para liberar minha energia de alguma forma - especialmente a energia criativa. Ultimamente para mim, isso significa escrever, pois pode ser feito de quase qualquer lugar com conexão à internet. Quando me concentro em escrever, parece que as coisas melhoram. Minha mente fica mais clara, consigo organizar meus pensamentos e fica mais fácil pensar sobre um assunto e ter ideias sobre o que escrever sobre ele, quais vídeos vincular, quais pessoas marcar, lembrar nomes de marcas ou peças, fazer pesquisas, pensar de ilustrações e fotos, faça o que for necessário para tornar meu texto mais completo. ❤

However, I also know that when I'm feeling like that, it's a good moment to release my energy in some way - especially, creative energy. Lately for me, this means writing, as it can be done from almost everywhere with an internet connection. When I focus on writing, it seems like things get better. My mind gets clearer, I am able orgainze my thoughts and it gets easier to think about a topic and have ideas on what to write about it, which videos to link, which people to tag, remember brand names or pieces, do research, think of illustrations and pictures, do whatever is needed to make my essay more complete. ❤

Para algumas outras pessoas, esta energia criativa é transformada em ilustração. Elas sabem como pegar as referências perfeitas, usam o lápis (físico ou digital!) para esboçar um rascunho, melhorar os contornos e depois colorir da maneira que preferem. Outras pessoas liberam a criatividade costurando, ou cantando, fazendo alguma atividade esportiva, jogando videogame, fazendo fotografia, tocando algum instrumento, quem sabe. Todo mundo é diferente.

For some other people, this creative energy is transformed in illustration. They know how to get the perfect references, use the pencil (a physical or a digital one!) to sketch an outline, improve their lineart and then color it the way they feel best. Other people release their creativity by sewing, or by singing, by doing some sporty activities, by playing their videogames, doing photography, playing an instrument, who knows. Everyone is different.

Acho que, enquanto colocarmos essa energia criativa pra fora de um bom jeito, iremos nos aprimorar e nos divertir. Talvez até compartilhar algo bom com este mundo. ♥

I think as long as we make a good output of this creative energy, we will be going to improve ourselves and have fun. Maybe even share something good with this world. ♥
